Scott Urquhart, PA-C, DFAAPA
Scott Urquhart has been practicing endocrinology since 1996 with Diabetes and Thyroid Associates in Spotsylvania, Virginia. He is a founding member and former President of the American Society of Endocrine PAs. Urquhart serves as an Adjunct Clinical Professor at James Madison University and a Clinical Instructor at George Washington University.
In 2008, he was named a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and in 2018, one of the top 10 PAs in the U.S. Urquhart is experienced in educational development and has presented on endocrine topics at various levels. He founded the Metabolic and Endocrine Disease Summit (MEDS) in 2011, and his work has been published in JAAPA, Diabetes Spectrum, Clinical Diabetes, and Clinician Reviews.
