How do I remove old Stelo biosensors from my device's Bluetooth list?

Before inserting a new biosensor, remove old biosensors from your phone's list of Bluetooth connections. There may be more than one biosensor listed because your phone saves each biosensor as a new device in the Bluetooth connections list.
Apple
  1. On your phone, go to Phone Settings > Bluetooth
  2. Find a used biosensor in My Devices list. Stelo names start with DXCM .
  3. Tap i to see details about this biosensor.
  4. Tap Forget This Device.
Android
  1. On your phone, go to Phone Settings > Connections > Bluetooth
  2. Find your used biosensors in the list of paired devices. Stelo names  start with DXCM.
  3. Tap Settings to see details about the connection.
  4. Tap Unpair.
Remove while using biosensor
To remove old biosensors from the Bluetooth connections list while you are wearing one, follow the above steps and keep these tips in mind:
  • All Stelo biosensors are listed as not connected, even the current one. The current biosensor’s status changes to connected during the few seconds every 5 minutes when it’s sending your biosensor reading to your smartphone. If you look at the list for up to 5 minutes, you’ll see which biosensor is the current one.
  • Don’t worry if you remove the current biosensor. Within 15 minutes, the biosensor will send your next reading to your smartphone and the biosensor will reappear in the Bluetooth connections list. (If you use an iPhone, it will prompt you to re-pair the biosensor — no pairing code needed. Android phones do this automatically.)
