Activity & Performance
Movin’ and groovin’ doesn’t just improve your fitness—it’s also a simple way to help optimize your glucose levels. This week, we’re on a mission to get you up and moving, with two challenges sure to reveal data that may just inspire helpful, long-lasting habits.
Challenge #1:
Movement master
Movement after meals can help avoid glucose spikes.† Let’s give it
a try and see how much simple movement after a meal can impact your personal glucose levels.
Days 1 and 2: Post-meal walk
Step into better glucose health by taking a 10-minute walk within 30 minutes of eating meals, for example, and see what a difference it can make.† Chances are that your glucose levels may not spike as high on walking days versus non-walking days. We challenge you to find out for yourself.
Challenge #2:
Exercise explorer
Did you know that glucose levels are affected differently depending on the time of day you exercise? It can be beneficial to your glucose health to find the time that works best for your body.† Use Stelo to help you discover new data related to activity during different times of the day with our challenge below.
Challenge #2:
Days 3-5
Get your move on—morning, noon, and night
Over the course of three days, try exercising at different times
of the day. For example, you may want to try exercising in the morning, afternoon, and evening on different days to see how
your body reacts.† For maximum impact, try incorporating exercise after your biggest meal of the day.
You may notice that your glucose levels are more stable when you exercise at one particular time versus the other times. This may indicate the most optimal time of day for you personally
to exercise.†
